THE CARTNERS FIELD GUIDE

Golf league management and season standings

Give a series of golf events a home. A Cartners league brings league members, its events and season standings together, while each tournament keeps its own event management and scoring.

Plan the season before the first event

Agree who can join, which events belong to the season and how finishing positions contribute to league points. Keep those rules clear for members before they begin competing.

A league is useful for an ongoing competition. For a single event, start with a tournament. For the wider club and its membership, use an organization.

Manage the league in Cartners

  1. Create or open your league.

Sign in and open Leagues. Review its details, members and your league role before making changes.

  2. Set up members and events.

Use the actions available to your role to invite members and manage the league’s associated tournaments. Keep each tournament’s dates and registration information current.

  3. Review the points settings.

An authorized league manager can update league settings, including the points configuration shown in the league. Explain changes to members.

  4. Follow standings through the season.

Open the standings and review ranked finishes alongside the associated events. Check event results when a member has no ranked finish or a total needs explanation.

Keep league and event responsibilities clear

League roles and tournament staff roles are separate. Access to league management does not mean every tournament control is available. Open the relevant league or event to see the actions your account can use.
