Golf tournament registration and player management

Decide how golfers will join

Before opening the event, agree its player limit, visibility and registration approach. Tell golfers whether they can register directly or need approval, and explain any entry costs and payment arrangements separately.

Creating an event or accepting a registration does not reserve a course tee time. Confirm your course arrangements before promising the field a start.

Keep the invitation and roster in step

  1. Set up the event.

    Choose the course information, dates and registration settings that apply to your tournament. Review them before inviting players.

  2. Invite or direct golfers to the event.

    Players sign in, open tournament details and use the registration action available to them. An invitation still needs the player’s response.

  3. Review the field.

    Check registered and approved players, pending requests, withdrawals and any waitlist. The displayed status explains each player’s current place in the event.

  4. Prepare the playing groups.

    Resolve changes before assigning pairings, teams and flights. Recheck your roster after a late withdrawal or approval.

Handle reminders and changes accurately

Eligible organizers can resend or revoke a pending invitation while the event allows it. A queued reminder does not confirm delivery to someone’s device, and an accepted player needs the appropriate roster action rather than invitation revocation.

Keep an agreed way to reach players for urgent changes. Available registration and management controls follow your role and the tournament’s current status.
